Types of Regional Center Services
The State gives a number to every type of service called a “service code.” This resource, developed by the California State Council on Developmental Disabilities, along with Disability Rights California, the three University Centers for Excellence in DD (UCEDDs) at the University of CA Davis MIND Institute, University of CA Los Angeles Tarjan Center and the University of Southern California at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, lists and explains the services with their “service code” number. These are services the regional centers may be able to get for you.
This list does not include all services. There may be new services that no one has thought of that you may need. This list can help you and your team learn about and identify services that may be useful to you. If you have more questions about services on this list, you can call your regional center service coordinator, staff of the State Council on Developmental Disabilities, or the Office of Clients’ Rights Advocacy to help you.
