What is an owner-operated residential facility?

SCDD Description

A residential facility for adults with developmental disabilities where the owner of the home also lives.

 DDS Description

Care homes that provide a safe place for consumers to live. They are licensed homes that have 24-hour support staff.

 Example

A couple owns a home that they want to turn into a residence for adults with developmental disabilities. They plan to live there, be the caregivers, and also hire additional staff to help out.
