In SDP, how can I hire my own workers and share employer responsibilities with an FMS vendor?

 DDS Description

Assists the participant to manage their individual SDP budget, hire employees, and share employer responsibilities with the FMS vendor. The FMS vendor processes payroll, handles taxes and background checks, and pays workers directly while the participant supervises and approves timesheets.

 Example

A participant hires a personal care attendant they choose and manage. The participant interviews, supervises, and approves timesheets, while the FMS vendor verifies eligibility, processes payroll, and handles taxes. The participant doesn't have to manage the paperwork on their own.
