Where can I get someone to support me in my apartment either several hours a week or all the time if I need it?

SCDD Description

Program or business that provides support staff for adult self-advocates who have more intensive skills training or behavioral supports, to enable them to live as independently as possible.

 DDS Description

Services provided to consumers who live on their own who need up to 24-hour support.

 Example

You need someone with you who can stop you from banging your head or kicking the walls or running into the street when there is traffic. You also need help with shopping, preparing meals, cleaning, budgeting, and getting out into the community. A supported living program can provide staff who rotate to be with you as many hours as needed to keep you safe, up to 24 hours a day.
