Can I receive support for speech, hearing, language, or communication needs?

SCDD Description

Services related to speech, language, hearing, audiology, hearing aids, communication disorders, and counseling connected to those needs.

 DDS Description

Speech therapy, audiology services, and hearing aids for participants age 21 and older when state plan benefits have been exhausted. Services support the identification, treatment, and management of speech, language, voice, and hearing-related needs. State plan benefits are generally limited to two services per calendar month, and hearing aid benefits have an annual cap unless medical necessity requires more. All services must meet applicable medical necessity requirements and California regulations.
