What type of residence can provide habilitation (learn, maintain, improve skills), and also some limited health services for a person with developmental disabilities?

SCDD Description

A facility of 4 to 15 beds that provides 24-hour care to individuals with developmental disabilities whose primary need is habilitation services, such as learning, maintaining, or improving skills, and who have intermittent recurring needs for supportive health services but not continuous nursing care.

DDS Description

Facilities that provide skilled nursing services and inpatient care to consumers who would not be able to live on their own or in a care home due to the severity of their care needs.
