Can we get someone at home to set up my child's intravenous (IV ) drip?

SCDD Description

A licensed registered nurse who performs many medical functions, but is not a doctor.

 DDS Description

A regional center shall classify a vendor as a registered nurse if the vendor: (A) Is an individual who is validly licensed as a registered nurse by the California State Board of Registered Nurses; or (B) Is a nurse registry from whom the services of a registered nurse are obtained.

 Example

You need someone who can set up IV antibiotics at home for your child who is just returning from the hospital.
