Is there a day program for someone who needs medical support during the day?

SCDD Description

Medical Day Services support individuals who have health conditions or medical needs that require oversight from a licensed medical professional while they participate in day services and work on IPP goals.

 DDS Description

Medical Day Services support individuals with health conditions in building skills and participating in the community, with oversight from licensed medical professionals. Services are provided in small staffing ratios (1:2 or 1:3), must align with goals in the Individual Program Plan (IPP), and meet Title 17 community-based day program standards.

 Example

You need support for a seizure protocol, feeding tube, medication needs, or other health condition during the day. A medical day service program provides activities and supervision with medical oversight.
