Can you practice behavior analysis without a college bachelor's degree?

SCDD Description

A person who is under the supervision of a behavior analyst or a behavior management consultant and who has a high school diploma plus training and 6 months experience, or an AA degree and 6 months experience working with people with developmental disabilities. They work with individuals served, staff, and family members to provide hands-on training to promote success and decrease the number of challenging or dangerous behaviors.

DDS Description

Services that provide a variety of health care professionals to address behavioral challenges in various settings. For some of these services the primary funding sources are Medi-Cal or private insurance.

Example

My child's psychologist has a community college student that they supervise in doing applied behavior analysis. My child is very comfortable with the student and is making progress with them, especially with their social skills.
