Wellness Initiative Projects are DDS-approved projects designed to promote the health and well-being of Californians with developmental disabilities.

 DDS Description

Varied projects approved by the Department through the Wellness Initiative Request For Proposal (RFP) process to promote the health and well-being of all Californians with developmental disabilities.

 Example

Your regional center participates in a DDS-approved wellness project that teaches people about exercise, nutrition, preventive health, safety, or healthy living.
