Can I get an emergency alert system so I can call for help quickly?

SCDD Description

A 24-hour emergency response system that helps the participant get immediate help during a physical, emotional, or environmental emergency.

DDS Description

A 24-hour emergency assistance service for participants who are without regular caregiver support for periods of time and would otherwise require a higher level of routine supervision. Services may include medical alert systems, monitoring services, emergency alert and communication devices, fire and safety equipment, installation, maintenance, repair, and user training. PERS services are intended to prevent institutionalization and support continued community living by ensuring participants can quickly access help during an emergency.
