Can I get help planning for special dietary or nutrition needs?

SCDD Description

Consultation and assistance with nutritional or special dietary needs; it does not include shopping for or preparing meals.

 DDS Description

Nutritional consultation includes the provision of consultation and assistance in planning to meet the nutritional and special dietary needs of participants. These services are consultative in nature and do not include specific planning and shopping for, or preparation of meals for participants.

 Example

A nutrition professional helps create guidance for a participant with diabetes, swallowing concerns, allergies, or other special dietary needs.
