Can we get someone at home to monitor my child's vital signs?

SCDD Description

A certified nursing assistant or home health aide who can take vital signs, change dressings and provide personal care. Supervised by a registered nurse or a physician.

 DDS Description

A regional center shall classify a vendor as a nurse's aide or assistant if the vendor: (A) Is certified as a nurse's aide or a home health aide by DHS; or (B) Is a nurse registry from whom the services of a nurse's aide or assistant are obtained; and (C) Provides services under the direction of a validly licensed registered nurse or physician.
