SCDD Description

Personal assistance and support for help with daily self- care needs and activities.

 DDS Description

Personal Assistance provides help with daily living activities (ADLs and IADLs), either by performing tasks for the individual or supporting them to do the tasks themselves. Services can be short-term or ongoing, including in the family home, when no other resources are available.

 Example

You have problems with balance and tremors and you need a personal assistant who can help you with your daily care such as bathing, toileting, dressing and feeding.
