Can someone help with meals or basic household tasks when the usual person cannot do them?

SCDD Description

Help with routine household activities, such as meal preparation and basic home care, when the person usually responsible is temporarily absent or unable.

 DDS Description

Help with routine household activities, such as meal preparation and basic home care, provided by a qualified individual when the person usually responsible is temporarily absent or unable. Services must be specified in the participant's IPP.

 Example

A homemaker helps prepare meals and do routine household tasks while the participant’s usual caregiver is recovering from surgery.
