SCDD Description

Time-limited additional staffing for residential support.

 DDS Description

Additional staff that are added to a consumer's support system when they are in crisis or need additional supports to continue using the services they are receiving. These services are typically in place temporarily until the consumer is no longer in need.

 Example

Your adult child frequently runs away or becomes aggressive. In order for them to be able to continue participation in their social/recreation program, they need a second support person with him at all times.
