Coordinating housing related services including locating affordable housing, moving, storage, setting up utilities (electricity, gas, water, phone), and interacting with the property manager.

A regional center shall classify a vendor as a Housing Services provider if: The vendor provides or brokers housing-related services identified in the consumer's IPP, integral to the consumer achieving and/or maintaining a home. Housing Services include, but are not limited to: moving, storage, utility services (such as electricity, gas, water, telephone etc.), property management, and/or the location of subsidized or other types of affordable housing.

You need help finding an apartment or house to rent that you can afford. Once you find the right place, you will need someone to support you with all of the details and arrangements. This might include moving, setting up utilities, and getting to know the property manager so you know what to do if something breaks, and how to pay your monthly rent.
