Hello, I’m Rebecca Donabed, the community organizer at Resources for Independence Central Valley (RICV).

Our main office is in Fresno and our two satellite offices, in Visalia & Merced. I’m in the Visalia office. I’m in charge of networking and advocating for all of the people that we serve.Image of a woman wearing black framed glasses smiling while sitting.

I’m meeting as many elected officials as I can, like Mayors, Vice Mayors, City Council Members, Assemblymembers, etc. RICV received two proclamations for National Disability Employment Awareness Month and one for Disability Awareness Month.

Two were from the City of Tulare and the other was from the Tulare County Board of Supervisors. We have also received a coin from Tulare Code Enforcement, all of them are in the Visalia office.

I also attend a lot of meetings via zoom such as Social Service Transportation Advisory Committee (SSTAC), Voting Accessibility Advisory Committee (VAAC), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Housing, etc.

I also run our Disability Team (DAT), which meets on the 1st & 3rd Thursday from 3-4:30p.m. of every month.

If you want to email me, my email is: rdonabed@ricv.org.

Thank you!
