State Council on Developmental Disabilities Grants Information
The California State Council on Developmental Disabilities, in alignment with the goals of its 5-year strategic state plan and under the direction of the State Plan Committee, issues requests for proposals (RFP) through Program Development Grants (PDG) on a yearly basis. SCDD’s successful grant projects are implemented by community-based organizations that research, develop and/or implement innovative programs and promising or best practices in local communities throughout the state and its diverse regions.

Cycle 47 Program Development Grants Technical Assistance (TA)
Sessions are for applicants to drop in with questions about the grant process, application platform, technical issues, etc. Staff will not provide feedback on programs or applications.
SDM-TAP Grants and Contracts
The Council has a total of $3,000,000 available to fund a maximum of five (5) SDM-TAP grant projects in two (2) areas of implementation: professional and family/individual. The Council will consider all proposal submissions and choose one (1) or more, but no more than five (5), with a minimum award of $150,000 and a maximum award of $800,000 per application that will not exceed the full $3,000,000 budgeted amount, subject to funding availability. The intended outcome is to increase awareness and successful implementation of SDM statewide, especially in underserved communities.
