Strikes, Spares, and Smiles: Fun Times at Harley’s Valley Bowl
Every Tuesday night, Harley’s Valley Bowl in Simi Valley is full of fun, laughter, and the sound of bowling pins falling. Friends come together to enjoy a relaxed and exciting evening of bowling.
This special weekly event, organized by the Alternative Recreation Department at Simi Parks and Recreation, brings people of all ages and abilities together. Bowlers come to play and spend time with their friends in a lively and welcoming place.
The weekly bowling nights are more than a game—they are a display of how our community is working to include people with developmental disabilities. For many, this event is a favorite part of their week, giving them a space to feel valued and accepted. At Harley’s, it’s not just about bowling—it’s about making friends and having a great time together.
People cheer each other on, give high-fives, and celebrate every good shot. The happy atmosphere makes everyone feel included. It reminds us that no matter our differences, we all need friendship and a sense of belonging.
Each week, the bowlers at Harley’s Valley Bowl are doing more than playing a game. They are celebrating their achievements and the support of their families and the community. Having fun together is a great way to make a difference. Bowling Night shows that when we welcome everyone and create opportunities for all, we build a stronger, more connected, and more joyful community.
