Will the regional center pay for my child to live in a residential program that is outside of California?

SCDD Description

A provider of out-of-state residential treatment for individuals who receive services from regional centers. Must be approved by the Department of Developmental Services.

 DDS Description

A regional center shall classify a vendor as an out-of state residential treatment program if the vendor provides an out-of-state residential treatment program for regional center consumers. Department approval is required pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code 4519.
