Panelist Bio:
Eric
is a person with lived experience, a husband, and a dedicated advocate for disability inclusion. He serves as a subject matter expert in emergency and disaster planning for people with disabilities, bringing both personal insight and professional knowledge to help ensure communities are better prepared to support everyone during emergencies.

Joe is a lifelong self-advocate and community organizer. His journey includes securing housing, public services, and employment while advocating for greater access and opportunity for people with disabilities. After experiencing a stroke, Joe worked through rehabilitation and continues his advocacy, bringing powerful lived experience and resilience to his work in the community.

Iisha
is a person with lived experience, a wife, and a mother. Her journey includes navigating life with little to no supports or services after often being told that she “doesn’t look like a person with a disability.” Through her experiences, Iisha brings an important perspective on the challenges of invisible disabilities and the need for greater understanding, recognition, and access to support.
